Professional Experience
Tania-Crina Baturi has gained experience in law firms with a solid practice (i.e. a prestigious international law firm as well as a local one), advising mainly in real estate, urban planning, commercial, corporate and corporate law domains.
Tania has been involved in numerous successful projects, ranging from due diligence analysis for various buyers of real estate of significant value and importance (residential, retail, logistics, industrial, office, office, extractive agricultural land), as well as renewable energy projects.
Relevant projects
- The most significant project is a recent one where she was part of the team of lawyers that assisted the buyer in the acquisition of one of the largest food retail companies in Romania. This transaction is the largest transaction in the food retail segment in continental Europe involving a private equity fund, with a value of €1.3 billion.
- Assisting a UK-based company in the acquisition of 25 retail parks for €219 million, this is in the top 10 largest retail space transactions in the local market.
- Assisting major real estate players, both Romanian and international, listed on international stock exchanges, in the acquisition of real estate (office buildings, shopping malls, strip malls, residential blocks, historical monument buildings, privatized buildings, etc.).
- Assisting large players in the energy market in the acquisition of wind and photovoltaic parks worth tens of millions of euros, by analyzing the history of the land, surface contracts and from an urban planning point of view.
- Assisting major players in the logistics sector to acquire land for the development of logistics projects.
Education and professional qualifications:
Tania graduated from the Law Faculty of the University of Bucharest in 2019. At the same time, she also graduated with a Master’s degree in Private Law in 2020. She has participated throughout her undergraduate and post-graduation in various courses, conferences and seminars. Tania is a member of the Bucharest Bar Association since November 2019.
