Relevant projects
Our attorneys have been involved in handling projects such as:
- Assistance in acquisition of one of the largest food retail companies in Romania. The transaction represents the largest in the food segment in continental Europe that involves a private equity fund, with a value of Euro 1.3 billion.
- Assistance of a UK-based company in acquisition of 25 retail parks for the amount of EUR 219 million, the deal being in top 10 largest deals with retail locations on the local market.
- Assistance of large real estate players, both on the Romanian and the international market, listed on international exchanges, for the acquisition of real estate (office buildings, commercial centres, strip malls, residential buildings, historical monuments, privatised real estate etc.).
- Legal assistance also regarding the institutional and public communication strategy granted to one of the largest investors and real estate developers in Romania and EEC regarding a legislative project with a possible major negative impact for the relevant market.
- Issuance of legal opinions with respect to the legal status of properties in Bucharest and across the country (from agricultural plots, buildable plots, buildings, commercial or industrial premises, residential projects etc.) at the request of potential investors, companies or investment funds, domestic or foreign.
